Thanksgiving: An Attitude of Gratitude

Lord, thank you for another day filled with food, shelter, health, and strength. Thank you for my family, everyone is fine. Thank you for peace and ridding my life of unorganized noise and drama. Too many times, I try to fix others when it's not my job, but yours. Too many times, I try to be a shero and solve all of my problems when all I have to do is call upon you. Too many times, I don't appreciate silence because I'm so accustomed to being a busy body, either meddling in others mess or messing up my mess. It is through this silence that I reflect on what I use to do and how you delivered me in spite of my disobedience. Silence is golden. Lord, I thank you because I realize that my life is Golden, and that you are always in control (weeding out the bad to construct a better me). This better me is not for men to say that I'm a wonderful person, but that I may give you all the glory for doing great things in my life.
